Kongsberg Automotive offers a variety of high pressure hoses; all with an an innertube of PTFE. Specially designed braid coverings give these hoses exceptionally high burst strength, low OD profile, maximum ID and low volumetric expansion along with the same chemically inert advantages of medium pressure PTFE hose. The low coefficient of friction assures less pressure drop over a long length. A precisely controlled amount of carbon black is added to the inner wall to dissipate static electricity and prevent dielectric breakdown of the PTFE, avoiding premature hose failure.

HOSE

T1557 High Pressure Hose is manufactured specifically for high pressure, high shock applications such as waterblast and other types of cleaning. This hose also excels in hydraulic and pneumatic applications where very low volumetric expansion is required at high pressure. In typical open ended waterblast applications, working pressure to 10,000 PSI are approved.

T1557 - .040 wall, non-conductive virgin PTFE tubing, overbraided with two layers of 300 series stainless steel wire.
